824 Days

So, it has been 824 days since my last post here

In 4 days my Etsy store will close it's virtual doors.  It will be just short of 14 years since I joined Etsy.

I have mailed thousands and thousands of packages, and had only one thing break in transit, so I guess I'm pretty good at that.  Go ahead, ask me about void fill.

835 Days

It has been 835 days since my last post here.

In the year 835, Berengar the Wise, a Frankish nobleman, died. All Saints Day was made compulsory by Pope Gregory IV throughout Frankish Kingdom.  Ragnar Lodbrok, a Norse Viking ruler, rose to power. He became the scourge of France and England. Danish Viking raiders allied with the Cornish against the rule of King Egbert of Wessex (approximate date). The Isle of Sheppey (off the northern coast of Kent) was attacked by Vikings.

Resistance Pendants

I've created Resistance Pendants and have them listed in my Etsy shop.  You can find them in this section:  Resistance. 

These are all solid glass, with microfiber cords.

I'm late in creating my yearly blog post.  So here it is.

TEST

Wow, it's been over a year since I posted here?  There must be a black hole where time goes,

I added a fresh, new rainbow wind chime to my Etsy shop.

Making the glass this narrow has proven difficult, do to mischievous activities of the kiln fairies, but I must have pleased them somehow, because I have now succeeded.

For this wind chime, instead of my usual ocean driftwood, I used desert driftwood, sun-bleached wood I collected from a dry stream bed in Arizona.
